I LOOK INCREDIBLE. Who wants to go pop some tags with me? Because this week I want to talk about the current number one song on Billboard’s Hot 100 list: “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft. Wanz.
If you haven’t heard it by now, don’t bother looking it up. I love this song so much, but once you hear it, it’s stuck in your head for at least a week. It’s extremely catchy and upbeat. I really love it because of what he is rapping about. I like rap, but I’m tired of all the songs about love, partying, and the “thug life.” A song about bargain shopping, now that’s original. It’s just an addictive song that you could have fun listening to. After hearing this song, I started listening to some of the other music Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have put out. Their songs are refreshing, and another song I really like by them is “Same Love ft. Mary Lambert.” P.S. The “Thrift Shop” music video will definitely make you smile. I want to go to Goodwill.. like right now.
